About Atorvastatin 20 mg Tablets
Atorvastatin is a statin. Together with a healthy diet, it lowers LDL (“bad”) cholesterol and triglycerides and raises HDL (“good”) cholesterol, reducing the risk of heart attack and stroke in people at risk.

How to use
Take 1 tablet once a day at any time, with or without food, or exactly as prescribed. Keep taking it unless your doctor tells you to stop. Avoid drinking large amounts of grapefruit juice.

Possible side effects
- Joint pain or muscle aches – tell your doctor right away about unexplained muscle pain, tenderness or weakness
- Diarrhea or upset stomach
