About Baclofen Tablets
Baclofen relaxes muscles by acting on nerves in the spinal cord. It is prescribed to relieve muscle spasms, stiffness and tightness (spasticity) caused by conditions such as multiple sclerosis or spinal cord injuries and diseases.
Baclofen should not be stopped suddenly: stopping abruptly can cause serious withdrawal effects, including hallucinations and seizures. Your prescriber will lower the dose gradually when it is time to stop.
