About Chlorpromazine Tablets
Chlorpromazine is a phenothiazine antipsychotic. It is prescribed for schizophrenia and certain other conditions, including severe nausea and vomiting, and is used only under a doctor’s care.
Antipsychotic medicines carry a boxed warning: older people with dementia-related psychosis have a higher risk of death when treated with them. Chlorpromazine can also cause drowsiness and movement problems, so it needs regular review by your prescriber.
