About Topiramate Tablets
Topiramate is an anticonvulsant. It is prescribed to control certain types of seizures and to help prevent migraine headaches.
Topiramate on its own is not approved for weight loss. It can harm an unborn baby (including cleft lip and palate), can cause eye problems and changes in mood, and should not be stopped suddenly because of the risk of seizures.
