About Azithromycin 500 mg Tablets
Azithromycin is a macrolide antibiotic that treats certain bacterial infections, such as some chest, sinus, throat, ear and skin infections. Because it stays in the body for a long time, a course is often just 3 days. It does not work for colds, flu or other viral infections.

How to use
Take exactly as prescribed – a common course is 1 tablet once a day for 3 days. Take it with or without food and finish the full course even if you feel better. Take antacids containing aluminum or magnesium at a different time of day.
