About Ketorolac Tablets

Ketorolac (once sold under the brand name Toradol) is a strong non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). The tablets are used only to continue treatment after a ketorolac injection, for moderately severe short-term pain such as after surgery, and for no more than 5 days in total (injection and tablets together).

Ketorolac carries boxed warnings about stomach bleeding, kidney problems, and heart attack and stroke, so it is not used for mild pain or long-term conditions.
